WHO WE ARE

Transact Law, P.C. is a “boutique” specialty law practice that focuses solely on the commercial real estate industry, assisting various-sized corporate entities, trusts and individuals with their commercial real estate transactions and related corporate matters. We specialize in commercial lease negotiations; acquisition and disposition of real estate buildings and projects; formation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships; preparation of various agreements and documents relating to development; and financing for real estate projects and corporate growth needed to build a real estate business and acquire a critical mass of properties. Erik Michelsen, the founder, has been an attorney since 1987, and he has operated his law firm for almost two decades.

Since January of 1998, Mr. Michelsen has applied his vast knowledge of business and real estate transactions to assist his own clientele in the commercial real estate business. Mr. Michelsen graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1987.
